Car accepted to the 2013 Concours D’ Elegance in Greenwich CT.
This lil Bad BoY came into our shop in September of 2011. I got this bug off of eBay from the North Western part of NY near Buffalo. This would be the earliest Bug we have ever gotten into our shop, and a ragtop to BOOT! Numbers matching bug all around, even the 25hp motor. This car was exported to Austria originally, it had no options on it, typical for a euro car.
1953 Oval from what I am told is the year oval to have since the production numbers were super low and it is the only year the oval had the 25hp motor. But a 1953 Oval also had some one year only characteristics, so finding the correct parts will be a challenge. NOTHING I CAN’T HANDLE!! That is the whole fun of it!
